Genital cosmetic surgery

In both men and women, genital cosmetic surgery aims to improve the aesthetics of the genital area.
It covers many techniques: penis enlargement/thinning, hymenoplasty, labia reduction.
Of all these techniques, labia reduction is the most frequent. It consists of the surgical correction of hypertrophy of the labia minora and majora, and/or problems of asymmetry, either congenital or acquired. Most patients request this type of intervention for aesthetic reasons (a disproportionate size may cause embarrassment when wearing tight clothing), irritation or discomfort when doing physical activity, and discomfort or difficulty in having sex.
Labia reduction is a safe, straightforward solution to these problems. The intervention is performed on an outpatient basis with local anaesthesia and sedation, adapting the various techniques available to the needs of the particular patient to achieve optimal aesthetic and functional results.
